Asbury’s Men’s Ministry

The purpose of the Men’s Ministry is to attract men to Christ and the Church, and help them grow stronger in their relationship with God and their families.  The Men’s Ministry provides fellowship and support groups, building men of character and integrity and empowering them to be leaders in their families, the Church, and their communities.

ManPower! is a men’s ministry that cater to the needs of ordinary men. Meeting at 9:00 am on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month, men gather to encourage one another and support each other. We pray together, study together, and grow together. Any topic—from faith and family to the place and position of men in society—is open for discussion, In addition to studying and supporting one another, we do some really fun stuff like horseback riding, playing cards, fishing, and simply being men who love life. We invite you to join us!

The ManPower! group meets every 2nd and 4th SATURDAY at 9:00 AM at Asbury’s Main Campus (the church), at 4257 Kearneysville Pike in Shepherdstown.

Mighty Men of God chorus

Men also have an opportunity to use their gifts and talents by singing in the all-men chorus, the Mighty Men of God. This group meets on the 1st and 2nd Saturday of each month, at 1:00 pm for rehearsals. They minister in music ever 2nd Sunday during the 11:00 am worship service. In this group there is plenty of fun, fellowship, passion and purpose. Come join us!

First Responders (Parking Lot ministry)

“First impression is a lasting impression.” This common saying has much wisdom, and is taken seriously at Asbury. Thus, the Parking Lot ministry is a very important ministry. For most people visiting Asbury, this is the first—and maybe only—impression they will get. The Parking Lot ministry provides men an opportunity to assist people who come to Asbury, connect, and impact lives. The Parking Lot ministry is an exciting ministry and it can be a “difference maker”! We welcome you to this ministry!
